1. Acceptance of Terms & Platform Ownership
ServeBees ("Platform", "we", "us", "our") is a technology marketplace platform owned and operated by InnoTrends Distribution Corporation ("Company"). By registering for an account, accessing, or using ServeBees, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorized to access or use the platform, and you must discontinue all use immediately.
2. Marketplace Intermediary Status & Independent Relationship
ServeBees operates exclusively as a technology-enabled marketplace and communications intermediary connecting independent third-party service providers ("ServiceBees" or "Providers") with prospective clients ("Customers").
Independent Contractors: ServiceBees are independent tradespeople, technicians, and contractors. They are not employees, agents, joint venturers, or representatives of ServeBees. Providers maintain full discretion over how, when, and with what equipment they perform their services. ServeBees does not direct, supervise, control, or monitor the physical provision of services at customer premises.
3. Absolute Limitation of Liability for Accidents, Injuries & Property Damage
No Liability for Accidents or On-Site Incidents: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ServeBees, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and territorial Colony Hub partners shall NOT be liable for any incident, accident, personal injury, bodily harm, illness, permanent disability, or death occurring prior to, during, or following the provision of any service arranged through the Platform.
No Liability for Property Damage or Loss: ServeBees bears zero responsibility or liability for any direct, indirect, accidental, or consequential damage to real property, fixtures, appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, personal belongings, or any loss or theft of property occurring at the service location.
4. Mutual Due Diligence & Discretion to Contract
ServeBees provides a platform for mutual connection. Both Customers and Providers acknowledge and agree that:
- Customer Due Diligence: It is the Customer's sole discretion and responsibility to exercise due diligence in evaluating, inspecting, and deciding whether to accept a Provider into their home, business, or premises, and to ensure the work area is safe and hazards are disclosed.
- Provider Due Diligence: It is the Provider's sole discretion and responsibility to inspect the job site, assess workplace hazards, evaluate their own skills, equipment, and personal protective gear, and decline or halt any service that poses health or safety risks.
- Direct Engagement: The contract for actual service fulfillment is formed directly and exclusively between the Customer and the Provider.
5. Assumption of Risk & Release of Claims
You voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks associated with hiring or performing physical, trade, and in-person services. By using ServeBees, you unconditionally release, waive, and forever discharge ServeBees from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, suits, or causes of action arising from or related to any accident, dispute, damage, or harm occurring during or in connection with a service.
6. Passkey Account Authentication
ServeBees utilizes cryptographic WebAuthn/FIDO2 Passkeys for authentication. You are responsible for safeguarding your authenticator devices. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
7. The In-Person Service PIN & Handshake
When a booking is made, the platform issues a 4-digit Service PIN to the customer. Providing this PIN to the ServiceBee at arrival constitutes verification that physical arrival took place. ServiceBees are strictly prohibited from commencing work or marking jobs as "In Progress" without PIN verification.
8. Payment Methods: Wallet Escrow & Direct Cash
ServeBees provides two transparent payment workflows to support customer convenience and provider flexibility:
- Wallet Digital Escrow: When paying through the ServeBees wallet, service funds are held in secure escrow upon booking confirmation. Once the ServiceBee marks the work complete, the customer has a designated inspection window to inspect the deliverables and confirm completion. Confirming completion immediately releases escrowed earnings to the provider's wallet. Bookings funded via Wallet Escrow remain fully protected under platform mediation, escrow freeze safeguards, and dispute refund eligibility.
- Direct Cash on Completion: When selecting Cash payment, no digital funds are escrowed upfront. The customer pays the full agreed amount directly to the ServiceBee in physical cash upon satisfactory on-site job completion. ServeBees automatically deducts its standard platform service commission (15%) directly from the provider's wallet balance upon completion. Because physical cash is handed over directly between customer and provider outside platform escrow custody, cash transactions cannot be refunded through platform chargebacks; however, dispute investigation and provider accountability standards remain strictly enforced.
9. Additional Work Approvals
If supplemental materials or extended labor are required beyond the original booking scope, the ServiceBee must submit an Additional Work Request through the application. Only customer-approved additional work requests become legally binding adjustments to the booking fee.
10. Cancellations & Dispute Resolution
Bookings may be cancelled under our cancellation rules. In the event of a dispute regarding quality or non-performance, our mediation team reviews PIN timestamps, photo logs, and chat records to issue binding determinations including full, partial, or denied refunds.
11. Intellectual Property & Proprietary Rights
All software, user interface designs, trademarks, logos, matching algorithms, dispatch workflows, and operational architectures comprising the ServeBees platform are the exclusive intellectual property and trade secrets of InnoTrends Distribution Corporation. They are protected under international copyright, trademark, trade secret, and intellectual property treaties.
Users, competitors, and third parties are strictly prohibited from copying, reproducing, reverse-engineering, decompiling, or creating derivative works based on our proprietary ServTech architecture, Service Handshake Protocol™, or Colony Hub™ models without express written authorization.
12. International Commercial Standards & Governing Principles
These terms are governed by standard international commercial principles, marketplace fairness guidelines, and mandatory consumer protection laws in the user's jurisdiction. Any statutory consumer rights guaranteed in your country or locality remain strictly preserved and unaffected.
