Passkeys are modern cryptographic credentials backed by Apple, Google, and Microsoft (FIDO2/WebAuthn standard). Instead of remembering a password that can be stolen or guessed, your account is authenticated by your device's biometric sensor (FaceID, fingerprint, or device lock PIN). It is completely immune to phishing attacks and credential leaks.
The Service PIN is a unique 4-digit security code generated for your booking. It serves as an in-person physical handshake. You should ONLY share this PIN with the ServiceBee once they have arrived at your location in person. When the ServiceBee enters this PIN, the job officially transitions to "In Progress".
When your booking is confirmed, your agreed fee is safely held in ServeBees Escrow. The funds do not go directly to the provider until you inspect their completed work and tap "Confirm Completion". If any issues arise, the money remains safely held until our mediation team reviews the case.
A ServiceBee can never arbitrarily increase your bill. If extra parts or labor are necessary, they must submit an in-app "Additional Work Request" with the exact cost breakdown and reason. The booking amount only updates if you explicitly review and approve this request.
Public bidding wars encourage a "race to the bottom" where providers undercut each other, resulting in cut corners and poor service quality. On ServeBees, when you post a need, providers submit private offers based on their true valuation and skills. You choose the best fit based on reputation and craft.
Do not tap "Confirm Completion". Instead, tap "Report a Problem" on the booking page. This automatically shifts the booking into "Disputed" status and freezes escrow release. Our dispute resolution team will review chat logs, PIN timestamps, and before/after photos to arrange a re-service or refund.
Once a customer confirms completion (or the auto-confirmation window elapses without dispute), earnings are credited immediately to your ServeBees Wallet. You can transfer your balance directly to supported bank accounts worldwide, international payment rails (such as direct deposit, ACH, SEPA, and wire transfers), regional digital wallets, or linked debit cards in your local or preferred settlement currency.
Every vetted ServiceBee receives an official digital and physical QR badge tied to their verified government identity. When they arrive, customers can scan this QR code with any phone camera to verify that the person at their door is genuinely the authorized ServiceBee.
