1. The Colony Compact
ServeBees is a community where homeowners, local residents, and independent service craftsmen interact with mutual dignity. We require all members—both customers and ServiceBees—to uphold standard principles of courtesy, prompt communication, and fair dealing.
2. Rules for ServiceBees (Providers)
- Authentic Identity: You must represent yourself honestly. The person photographed and ID-verified on your profile is the only person permitted to carry out booked work. Subcontracting or sending unverified substitutes is strictly prohibited and results in immediate account suspension.
- Transparent Quotes: Honor your posted pricing and accepted quotes. If unexpected work or replacement materials are discovered during physical diagnostics, you must formally present an Additional Work Request in the app before proceeding.
- Professional Punctuality: Arrive on time. If traffic or emergency delays occur, communicate promptly through the ServeBees in-app messaging tool.
- Workplace Cleanliness: Treat the client's home or commercial space with care, leaving the work area clean upon project completion.
3. Rules for Customers
- Safe Working Environment: Ensure that the work area is safe, accessible, and hazard-free for the ServiceBee.
- Accurate Problem Description: Provide honest and detailed descriptions (including photos where possible) when posting job needs so providers can assess requirements accurately.
- Timely PIN Handshake: Provide your 4-digit Service PIN to the ServiceBee promptly once they arrive in person so their active work session can be properly recorded.
- Prompt Confirmation: Inspect completed work diligently and release escrow funds promptly once you are satisfied with the results.
4. Prohibited Behavior & Zero Tolerance
ServeBees enforces an absolute zero-tolerance policy for:
- Harassment, discrimination, verbal hostility, or abusive language.
- Soliciting or accepting off-platform cash transactions to evade escrow safeguards.
- Falsifying qualifications, reviews, or identity documentation.
- Property damage, theft, or deliberate fraud.
Violations may result in forfeiture of escrow guarantees, account termination, and potential reporting to law enforcement authorities.
